Library Internship & Training Vacancy at the Central Library, IIT Delhi

Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi released recruitment for Library Intern 2022.

Essential Qualifications: First Division in Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent with First Division, to work as Library Intern. The applicant must have passed MLIS or equivalent examination either only in the year 2021 or 2022. However, those expecting MLIS final marksheet as above by the day of the Interview may also apply.

Candidates who passed the MLIS or equivalent examination before 2021 need not apply.

Remuneration: stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Duration: The internship position is purely on a temporary basis. The internship will be offered for one year.

The Intern is required to work six days a week and can avail upto two Leaves in a month. Selected candidates shall not have claim on any regular positions.

Last Date to Submit Online Form: November 20, 2022 (5 pm)

The last Date to Submit a Hard copy of the form along with the Self Attested Documents: is November 25, 2022 (5 pm)

Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- Per Month

Age Limit: Not exceeding 27 years as on November 20, 2022.

Nature of Internship: Interns will be provided with an opportunity to work in different sections of the Central Library and to learn the modern library management techniques and web-based services in Learn while you are Doing the Work in the Section manner.

Selection Process: The candidates shortlisted will be called to appear for an Offline Interview. The date for the interview

will be announced in due course of time on the Library Website.
